ABSOLUTELY FUCKING INCREDIBLE!! 1991 Sonic Youth Tour video with monster performances by them, nirvana and the best possible version of Dinosaur’s Freak Scene. Plus unbelievable goofball footage of Thurston, nirvana, kim and j. Really, Really just outstanding and sorely missing on DVD. I was obsessed with it in high school. It changed my life then, and its changing it again. right. now. so. watch it.;

Dude, thats one of my all time favorite docs! The beginning with Thurston free associating and Kim and Kurt dancing on the railroad tracks – genius. The scene with Dave Grohl spilling wine all over himself backstage? Comedic brilliance. Most fun tour ever.

Yes!! so many genius parts!! Re-watching it made me remember why Thurston was one of my teenage idols. I also love the kim and mascis gossip scene. they’re both so deadpan. what else can you say except–why isnt it on a criterion dvd?
